Vellichor Afternoons

I like trip-hop, anachronism, cats, both coffee and tea, the sound of rain on a tin roof, antique keys, pop culture as a substitute for religion, theatre, photography, Oxford commas, and, of course, reading.

Murder is Binding - Lorna Barrett A perfectly servicable mystery, which is what I wanted--something nice and light for a cold winter evening. I certainly got what I wanted; I wasn't worried over the characters and I didn't care what happened to them after I was done reading, but it was entertainment while it lasted. Sort of like the book equivalent of watching an episode of CSI--you know who did it before the characters figure it out, but you aren't particularly upset about it.
