Vellichor Afternoons

I like trip-hop, anachronism, cats, both coffee and tea, the sound of rain on a tin roof, antique keys, pop culture as a substitute for religion, theatre, photography, Oxford commas, and, of course, reading.

Hit List - Laurell K. Hamilton A return to Anita actually on a case! That is exciting! Plus Edward, Olaf, and Bernardo always make for fun and bloody times. Maybe I like them because they ground the series back in humanity, which the rest of the gang has gotten so very, very far away from.

However, I was annoyed that she goes on and on about how she can't say the name of the Harlequin--really, there is a whole discussion between Anita and Edward on the subject--and then she says it, full out, BUT THEN GOES BACK TO NOT SAYING IT.

Is there nobody editing these books? Really?
